  • The following report and recommendation relate to the proposal by Dannybliss Integrated Agro Enterprise in collaboration with  Ebubu Panya Production Cluster 1 Co-operative Investment And Credit society  to embark on poultry farming for massive broilers meat production in Rivers state.
  • The project is aim at producing 500,000 broilers at a cheaper rate for food sufficiency and as well to creates 30 job opportunity for youth in Rivers State.
  • The plan project is targeted for youth and women of the co-operative Society with each member contributing their quota of farming production to the cluster
  • The project would require a start-up capital of Two hundred thousand US Dollar

  ($200,000) that will be used as working capital and fixed capital required to carry out the farming operation

  The financial projection shows that, the yearly net profit for each farmer after loan repayment and expenses   for year 1  $841,750 for year 2 and $1,512,625 for year 3 respectively and the yearly sales turn-over of each farmer production is $2,375,000 as shown in the profit and loss.

  1.6   The cash flow projection is also very good and encouraging from first and second through to third year as shown in the cash flow analysis

  • The competitive edge of the enterprise lies in its ability to produce quality poultry meat  as a result of good managerial ability and farming innovation
  • Therefore, from the point of analysis on this business, the poultry farm is found to be technically feasible, financially viable and economically desirable. Thus, this business offers good investment return and is capable of creating employment for youth, hence this proposal should be consider for funding
